STREET ARTIST (FRA)
BODEGA COMFAMA - PERPETUO SOCORRO
SPRAY PAINT (VORTEX)
Takir is a French visual artist whose work bridges the worlds of street art, architectural abstraction, and conceptual urban design. Trained at the École des Beaux-Arts de Lorient (DNSEP – Master of Fine Arts) and later at the Universidad de Antioquia in Medellín, he has developed a distinctive visual language rooted in structure, geometry, and spatial complexity. Over nearly two decades, his evolution from graffiti practitioner to multidisciplinary artist has shaped a practice that merges academic rigor with the visceral energy of the street.
At the core of Takir’s creative identity lies the idea of the city as a labyrinth—a living system of movement, memory, and transformation. His murals unfold as intricate networks of interlocking shapes, vortex patterns, and architectural constructs, inviting viewers to navigate visual pathways that resemble topographies of imagined cities. These works are neither static nor decorative; they are dynamic spaces that encourage exploration, contemplation, and perceptual immersion.

Takir’s approach is deeply influenced by his experiences in public space, which he regards as both a canvas and a social arena. By drawing from the language of graffiti, urban mapping, and industrial architecture, he constructs environments that challenge conventional notions of perspective and order. His compositions, often monumental in scale, transform facades into architectural puzzles, where visual rhythm and geometrical tension create a sense of movement and unfolding narrative.
Internationally active, Takir divides his time between France and Colombia, working on murals, institutional collaborations, and large-scale commissions. His works can be seen across Europe and Latin America, including notable pieces such as ISOMETRIK 27 in Pantin (France), Pompei City Vortex in Italy, and multiple interventions in Medellín for cultural events and design festivals. His participation in international street-art circuits places him among the contemporary artists redefining the boundaries of urban aesthetics.

Beyond murals, Takir extends his research into drawing, painting, and installation, maintaining a strong conceptual foundation rooted in spatial philosophy. His visual universe references “machine-cities”, abstract urban organisms, and multidimensional structures that merge human movement with architectural imagination. For curators and collectors, his work presents a sophisticated blend of formal innovation, symbolic depth, and cultural hybridity, making it relevant to both contemporary art discourse and major public-art projects.
Through his signature combination of graphic precision, spatial experimentation, and urban storytelling, Takir continues to expand the vocabulary of contemporary muralism. His work stands at the intersection of fine art and street culture, offering a compelling vision of what the future of public space can look like—fluid, interconnected, and intellectually expansive.
