MAC - medellin art collective
Medellín Art Collective (MAC) is a cultural platform, urban art collective, and visual production project focused on urban art, street art, contemporary art, and their relationship with the city and public space. We are based in Medellín, and we work as a hub for artists, cultural producers, and creative communities interested in contemporary visual culture, urban culture, and art in the public space.
MAC works in collaboration with FullMoon Entertainment Group, combining curatorship, audiovisual production, photography, and video documentation to build visual archives, exhibitions, and cultural projects that connect art, city, and community.
art exhibits
At MAC we develop cultural projects and art exhibitions that bring together:
- Photographic documentation and audiovisual documentation of artistic processes
- Curatorship and exhibition production
- Support for festivals, artist collectives, and independent artists
- Visual archives, cultural memory, and art documentation
- Design of exhibition experiences in galleries, museums, and alternative spaces
Our focus is not only on showing artworks, but on telling the stories behind the creative processes, the urban context, and the artists who make them possible.

art is a tool to transform the city
We believe in art as a tool to understand and transform the city. That’s why many of our projects start in the public space, on walls, in the streets, and through collaborations between artists and communities.
We work from a contemporary perspective that combines visual storytelling, documentary photography, video production, and curatorial practice, aiming for each art project to have a strong identity, a coherent narrative, and a real cultural impact.
mac supports urban art
MAC develops and supports urban art projects, street art documentation, photography exhibitions, video projects, and cultural management initiatives. One of our main lines of work is the documentation of urban art and the creation of visual memory around artistic and cultural processes in the city.
We aim to consolidate MAC as a reference collective in urban art, street art documentation, visual culture, and contemporary art projects in Colombia, connecting artists, institutions, and audiences through high-quality cultural experiences, strong visual narratives, and professional exhibition production.
Our work moves between the street, the exhibition space, and digital platforms, understanding that contemporary arttoday lives across multiple formats: photography, video, exhibitions, and online content.

MAC, in collaboration with FullMoon Entertainment Group, presents a photographic exhibition built from the visual archive of the Medellín Street Art Festival (Editions 1 and 2).
This free exhibition features a curated selection of 17 photographic works—one per artist—highlighting national and international muralists who have transformed Medellín’s urban landscape. With an emphasis on murals as a central visual axis, the show brings public-space artworks into a gallery setting while preserving their raw, urban energy.
- The exhibit includes:
- Photographs printed and mounted for display
- A dedicated curatorial text
A screen projection of silent audiovisual material that offers context and narrative to the festival processes
Designed to bridge street art, visual storytelling, and exhibition spaces, this show invites visitors to experience the festival from a fresh perspective: slower, more focused, and framed within a coherent visual narrative.
All activities are free and open to the public.
